Floral Design

Years ago while shopping for our Welsh pine hutch I met Marianne Brown. She was in the basement of a church selling her artificial flower arrangements in a small area of what was the Old English Pine shop (now English Living).

She moved to Florida, worked as an interior designer for several years and is now back in St. Louis as a floral designer. You will love her work and should stop by and see her in her new shop. Those out of town can visit her website at http://www.mariannebrowndesign.com/. On the website you can find the article from Mary Engelbright’s Home Companion magazine showcasing Marianne’s home.

It was a fun visit. Met Tom Sprick a designer here in St Louis and avid customer of Marianne’s. Tom is also a gardener and will be volunteering at the Missouri Botanical Garden’s bulb area soon. Watch for his new website. Designers who pay attention to the exterior as much as the interior are my favorites. Enjoy his blog HERE.
